My public school plan focuses on restoring excellence and equity in Kansas education. I will raise teacher pay to rank in the top 25 nationally and improve benefits to attract and retain quality educators. Every public school student will receive two healthy meals daily, and we’ll fully fund tuition for all Kansas junior colleges and technical schools. I’ll reduce administrative bloat, improve pay for support staff, and eliminate cell phones during school hours. Public dollars will stay in public schools—no vouchers or tax breaks for private schools. Strong public schools are the foundation for healthy communities and a strong economy.
